Book Review: Crazy Spooky Love
Crazy Spooky Love by Josie Silver is a cute, romantic read for those who crave more ghosts and love stories in their lives.
Melody Bittersweet comes from a family of spiritual communicators. The women of her family are well-known in the local community for communicating with ghosts, and they run a business around it. Yet when Melody turns 27, she wants to strike out on her own. With her best friend and an unlikely new employee, she decides not just to communicate with ghosts, but clear them from places they are not wanted. Ghostbusters, and make it girl power.
As Melody tries to deal with the unfinished business of ghosts invading prime realty in her town, she will later have to deal with her unfinished business of the heart (e.g. when your ex comes back to town). The book was different than Silver’s other books, which I also enjoyed. Yet Crazy Spooky Love was different in a good way; if you want a lighthearted small-town romance with a hint of the supernatural, check out this book.
Thank you to Dell and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
