Book Review: The Locked Ward

Sarah Pekkanen is a master of psychological thrillers! In The Locked Ward, Georgia is (falsely?) accused of murdering of her adoptive sister. She’s trapped in a locked-down psych ward. Georgia was adopted into a rich, powerful family and only recently found out about her twin sister Mandy (they were separated at birth).

Mandy is Georgia’s only hope, but first she needs to find out if her newfound sister is manipulating her. Is Georgia really Mandy’s twin?

A murder mystery and twin story, this novel will make you feel uneasy during spooky season. The plot twists were twisting! The novel was fast-paced yet believable and the character development meaningful. I could relate to both Georgia and Mandy and enjoyed reading both of their POVs.
