Do you like stories about heists, long cons, or con artists? Do you ever look up Florida Man new stories? Were you obsessed with that Netflix TV series about Anna Delvey?

Well, then I think you will be interested in The Long Con by Jenna Voris. Chloe works in hotel catering, but her real job has been planning little heists and robberies in what she sees as a Robin-Hood approach to the redistribution of wealth. She targets rich people so she can pay off her debt; really she is looking for something to distract her from grieving her mother. With her two awesome best friends, she has fun and the thrill of success, without getting lost in the drudgery of working in hotel customer service.

A new resort is opening, and two rival hoteliers are in a major feud. Chloe and her friends get drawn into it, with the biggest con they’ve ever pulled, and a chance to get out of the petty-crime game with millions of dollars at stake.

 The only problem is they have to team up with Harper Parisi, a rich-girl rival, fellow con-artist, and oh yeah, daughter of one of the hoteliers. They need her insider knowledge, but not her bad attitude. And Harper is a distraction, because Chloe thinks she hates her, but she kind of loves her too? The Florida setting adds a suffocating layer to the fast-paced plot and the twists were satisfying and not predictable. And there are some crazy scenes on a yacht.
