Book Series: Winter Street

To finish out my 12 Days of Holiday Books countdown, a selection of book reviews of recommendations, I have selected a holiday series: Winter Street Quartet by Elin Hilderbrand.

When you want to go to Nantucket, but you just can’t afford it (haha, laughing/crying), you can always reach for an Elin Hilderbrand book, because you will be entertained, transported, and you might just shed a well-earned tear.

The Winter Street series will get you in the holiday spirit by transporting you to the Nantucket Christmas stroll, a real event that often takes place in December, and the cozy little family run inn that may be small, but has more than enough drama to get you through the holiday season!

If you are a fan of beach reads, chances are you’ve encountered the “rich people behaving badly,” gossip-worthy world of Elin Hilderbrand’s Nantucket. Come for the delicious descriptions of nature, food, and the restaurant scene, leave with well-developed, truly human characters dealing with love, affairs, illness, grief and everything life can throw at you. The beautiful settings are rivaled by her breezy yet evocative writing style. I have read almost all of her books, including the Winter Street series.
