Book Review: Yours Always
Yours Always by Corinne Sullivan is an intense psychological thriller with exciting, intriguing yet believable plot twists I didn’t see coming.
For Talia Danvers, a chance meeting with her ex-boyfriend Townsend Fuller seems too good to be true. And maybe it is. Townsend cheated on her with Amanda, and Amanda might just be desperate enough to keep in touch with Townsend anyway she can, even if that means by stalking.
Talia and her best friend Meena both work at a dating app called Cuff. They are some of the only women on the Austin, TX tech scene, and they become best friends. However, almost no friendship is without rivalry and the trust between Meena and Talia erodes as a mysterious stalker and dangerous circumstances threaten Meena’s quiet life with her daughter and Talia’s relationship. And Talia seems like she will do almost anything to get engaged to Townsend Fuller.
My Thoughts
The story is told from the points of view of Meena, Talia, Amanda, and Amanda’s sister, who is searching for her missing sibling. Each woman’s past has something that might come back to haunt her, which made all of them potentially culpable for the crimes committed in these pages. I was interested in all of the points of view and none of the plot points seemed too convenient or predictable.
To Read or Not to Read? Read It!
Full of unreliable narrators, mysterious plot threads, and twists that don’t stop, thriller-lovers will definitely enjoy Yours Always!
