Our Perfect Storm by Carley Fortune is a perfect friends-to-lovers romance with an atmospheric setting, dynamic character development, and heartfelt, steamy romance. As an avid fan of Little Women, I also loved the inspiration of what might happen if Jo and Laurie were meant to be together. And they even exchange letters in a birdhouse mailbox as they are growing up.
Read this book if you are “utterly desperate for an adventure.” It just might be one of the best love stories you ever read. Carley Fortune, you have my cynical little heart believing in love again.
